We are comitted to a low-carbon circular economy in which the entire value chain has minimal climate impact. This includes reducing waste through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.
We have carefully selected British suppliers that are equally engaged in protecting our environment, by covering their fields with solar panels or renewing food waste into biomass or fertiliser, to name a few. All suppliers and our manufacturer are within the Great British borders, ensuring lower food miles when bringing dog dining across the country. We are a 100% local business and product.
Our meals are delivered in packaging made from sustainable sourced, plant-based renewable materials and are recyclable. Recycling is at the centre of a low-carbon circular economy that aims to reduce waste and keep materials in use for longer.
With the implementation of the blockchain technology from Provenance we ensure our entire value chain lives up to the highest welfare and sustainability standards – open for everyone to see.
Tetra Pak cartons are widely recyclable within the UK. Compared to the widely used can, our packaging takes up much less space, meaning less lorries on the road, contributing to a smaller carbon footprint. From production to waste management, they have even shown to have an overall climate impact five times less than steel or glass. As an added bonus, they are easy to store and take up little space!
More than 94% of councils in the UK collect the cartons and at Tetra Pak’s own recycling plant the cartons are remade into new products like roofing tiles and toilet paper roll cores.
